“There’s no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one.” Jill Churchill
I’m not sure where this blog might take me but I intend on having fun with it. I apologize in advance for any typos, grammatical errors and/or abbreviations. My time to post is limited to the free moments my little ones allow me to have, quality time with the family, as well as my work schedule, doing the laundry, cooking and cleaning. So needless to say many of my posts will be typed while I’m hiding in the bathroom with the shower running with more than two people knocking on the door for my attention. Because why would I need a moment to myself, I’m a mother and a wife after all, with my only existence being to serve and protect, or is that the motto for another group?!?! I think so!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. I live and breathe for my family. I anticipate their needs and wants before they have a chance to voice them. I truly love every second of motherhood and being married! Every sleepless night, every hug, every tear I have the privilege of wiping away, the heartfelt conversations, messy moments… the list goes on and on. I love it all; the good, the bad and the ugly. This is my life’s purpose and I thank God every day for blessing me with my husband and our 3 amazing children.
Life is all about embracing the chaos because there’s no such thing as an easy victory… but boy is the journey worth it!
Welcome to my journey.
